Cyanidin-3-o-glucoside has been shown to be the most orally bioavailable of all 500 Anthocyanins.

This is in part due to the flavonoid anthocyanin which gives the Black Rice its black color.

It helps to fight off fungal infections, and now being studied for its ability to improve the strength of the capillaries in the eyes and the benefits to cardiovascular health.

Anthocyanin has been extensively studied for its ability to improve eyesight and reduce eyestrain.
Black Rice Cyanidin-3-o-glucoside is great against free radicals. Free radicals are special molecules that reduce the antioxidant potential in the body and increase oxidative stress. Black Rice is high in a substance called flavonoids, chemically known as polyphenols. Black Rice's flavonoids are anthocyanosides that enhance microcirculation throughout the body.

Research has shown this effect to be particularly noticeable in the delicate blood vessels supplying the retina of the eye. The retina is where the major functions of vision occur.

Suggested Use: 25 to 50 mg, 1 to 3 times daily. 100 mg yields 25 mg anthocyanins.
