An FDA approved soluble fiber from Larch trees also found in some grains & vegetables, and is the primary immune-stimulating compound in the herbs echinacea and curcumin.

Arabinogalactan supports the immune system by promoting healthy white blood cell count and natural killer cell activity.

Larch is the only source of arabinogalactan without attached proteins and is easily extracted with just water.

Arabinogalactan enters the large intestine undigested where it is completely but very slowly fermented by beneficial bacteria, increasing them, particularly Bifidobacterium, while making a less favorable environment for pathogenic bacteria.

Also noted is support of healthy LDL cholesterol and insulin levels.

Taking echinacea with arabinogalactan is more effective than using echinacea alone.

It is a water-soluble polysaccharide (also known as “healthy sugar”) to support generally immune system function. A strong immune system is the basic for a well energy potential. If your immune system is down, then you can be sure the body needs an energy boost. Our Nutrition Consultant suggests you to eat more foods, that is rich in arabinogalactan such as corn, pear and coconut, mushrooms, leek, asparagus, pumpkin, spinach, beans green, peas green, onion, carrot, cauliflower, broccoli, avocado, eggplant, mango, apples, apricot, banana.

The immune system is a very important "control center" of stress. In case of too much stress (or/and low stress resistance), we can be sure that our immune system is down. The hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis is the middle point of stress. Ours immune system watches & guides this axis.

Arabinogalactan lowers Cortisol and/or adrenaline and nor-adrenaline levels and it is a great immune booster.

Caution: Do not take Arabinogalactan if you have autoimmune disease, macula degeneration, cataract.

Diet Tip: Carbohydrates such as bread, whole grain (e.g. rice, millet, quinoa, corn etc.), high glycemic fresh and dried fruits decrease a chronic stress related high secretion of adrenaline, nor-adrenaline or the stress hormone Cortisol.  Vitamin B2, 50-150 mg (as active form/coenzyme) supports the effect of arabinogalactan.

Suggested Use: At least stress related dosage per day is 500 to 1500 mg/d. Our Nutrition Consultant suggests Arabinogalactan to be taken as “energy-booster” for a phase of 2 weeks (1,000 mg/d). The effect is better with 1 to 2 gram Vitamin C (as Ascorbyl-Palmitate) and Vitamin B2, 50-150 mg (as active form/coenzyme) or a B-coenzyme complex.
