Dong Quai is the Chinese name for Angelica Sinensis, an herb that has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years.
Dong Quai has been known as a great hormone regulator. For the female, Dong Quai has a rich history of use for premenstrual pain, post-birth healing, amenorrhea, hot flashes, and other menopause-related symptoms. Time honored for its action against bloating, cramping, and poor lubrication.
Chinese Angelica has also been used traditionally for releiving headache pain, fortifying bones, relieving hypertension, soothing arthritis, and treatment of angina pain. Also used for kidney related issues.
While using Dong Quai, please use a sunblock to help with increased sensitivity to light, and because it stimulates uterine function do not use while pregnant. Also avoid while using blood thinning medications.
